Autopilot

Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Autopilot and the EduBridge student portal. By creating an account or submitting an interest registration, you agree to them.

1. Provider

TODO — legal name of the operator, TODO — street and number, TODO — postal code, city, Germany — contact: hello@autopilotlessons.com.

2. The service

Autopilot helps tutors prepare lessons, manage students, generate practice material, notify parents and track billing. EduBridge gives each student access to the material their own tutor has assigned. The service is currently in closed beta: features may change, and availability is not guaranteed at production service levels.

3. Accounts

  • Registration requires a valid invitation. Accounts are personal; credentials must not be shared.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your password confidential.
  • Student accounts are created by the tutor. The tutor is responsible for having the authority to do so.
  • We may suspend an account that is used unlawfully, that abuses the service, or that puts other users at risk.

4. Your content and your students' data

You keep all rights to the material you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display it in order to provide the service. You confirm that you are entitled to upload the material — including third-party textbook pages you scan — and that you have any consent required to enter data about your students. Where we process student data on your behalf, we do so as your processor under Art. 28 GDPR and on your instructions.

5. AI-generated material

Lesson plans, worksheets, exercises and grading suggestions are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. They are drafts for a teacher to review, not verified teaching content. You remain responsible for what you present to a student. Automated grading is indicative and must not be used as the sole basis for a formal assessment.

6. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or harmful content.
  • No attempts to circumvent access controls, rate limits or the invitation gate.
  • No automated scraping, load testing or reverse engineering without our written consent.
  • No uploading of malware, and no use of the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.

7. Prices, discounts and payment

Prices are shown before you subscribe and include VAT where applicable. Discounts — such as the 10% first-month beta discount — apply once per customer to the first billing period and cannot be combined with other offers. Subscriptions renew for the chosen period unless cancelled before the end of the current period.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons, by informing us at hello@autopilotlessons.com. Where you ask us to start providing the service immediately, the right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent. Submitting an interest registration is free and creates no payment obligation.

9. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted operation during the beta. Maintenance and third-party outages can interrupt the service. Support is provided by email at hello@autopilotlessons.com.

10. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your account or by email. On termination we stop processing your data and delete it within 90 days, except where statutory retention periods apply. You can export your data before cancelling.

11. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation essential to the contract, and only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Liability for loss of data is limited to the cost of restoring data from a properly maintained backup. Statutory rights of consumers are unaffected.

12. Governing law and disputes

The law of Germany applies. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence. We are not obliged, and are not willing, to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

13. Changes to these terms

We will notify you of changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept them, you may terminate before the effective date.
